Hi, James,
This is very interesting. I'll discuss putting in on the web site with Maureen. There is an enormous amount being discussed at the moment concerning recovery. I don't think RADIX is the place for all of this, but for a more selective set of critical discussions -- why lessons from earlier recovery efforts don't get learned and applied, etc. However, I'll read your piece carefully and come back with comments.
You and RADIX readers generally may be interested in a world wide, distributed conference of architects brainstorming ideas for reconstruction in Haiti in 200 cities. Check it out. There are several sites in UK, many in various European cities, in Bogota, Caracas... Asian cities... Johannesburg.
